A Long HISTORY

Since the firm’s founding in 1975, Jarmel Kizel has worked its way from the inside out; originally concentrating on the interior design of corporate offices and since has grown into a unique Architectural, Engineering, and Interior Design firm that provides a single point of accountability for all aspects of design.

The firm’s size and abilities enable it to handle a broad spectrum of projects while allowing the principals to put their seal on every one. With Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Engineering services in-house, clients can look to Jarmel Kizel to have all aspects of their projects designed and managed by one firm.

Today the firm provides a unique service platform that provides a single point of accountability for architectural and engineering services formatted to assist clients with managing their project’s design needs from site design and land entitlements to building design through construction oversight.

Marvin Jarmel forms ISS Interior Space Specialists offering commercial interior designs services. The first offices were in the basement of his home in Livingston, NJ.

The firm expands into offices at 186 Gregory Ave Passaic, NJ.

To accommodate continued growth, the firm moves to 42 Okner Parkway Livingston, NJ.

The firm creates a Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineering design studio to better serve the needs of its clients.

The firm changes its name to The ISS Architectural Group to better depict its expanding services into the design of new buildings and expansion of existing ones in the office, industrial, retail, educational and multifamily sectors.
