John Strandberg, AIA

Associate, Director of Quality Control & Staff Development

John Strandberg serves as the Director of Quality Control and Staff Development. In this capacity he oversees the quality control production of all projects and development and growth of the architectural staff. John has experience in all of the project sectors, including multi-residential housing, commercial office buildings and hospitality projects from club houses to hotels. Prior to joining Jarmel Kizel, he worked for several notable arch NY, NJ and South Florida architectural firms. A graduate of the School of Architecture and Environmental Design-City College of New York (CCNY), John's experiences have included working for world renown architectural firms, where he earns the reputation of having highly technical skills and project development. An innovator and highly competent business and project leader with experience developing creative solutions that enhance performance, effect change and growth. Has a proven reputation of management skills to lead and direct staff to accomplish on-time and successful project. A leader with the experience to embed technical knowledge into project development and details, John received the 2003 National Mentorship Award given by the American Institute of Architects for his mentoring and leadership skills. Also known to be a creative thinker and problem solver who understands the goals and expectations of the client. John has served on the board of the AIA-Palm Beach Chapter as well as receiving the 2005 John Stetson Award for his community services. John is a licensed architect in the State of Florida and New Jersey. He holds a NCARB Certificate and is also licensed as an Interior Designer. Expertise in the design of Multi-family Residential projects, mixed-use projects, corporate and commercial projects, hotel and resort projects and institutional projects. His main focus at the firm is Quality Assurance and Quality Control of all projects, Technical Support and Managing Major project.
