Jarmel Kizel Architects and Engineers Recognizes Dana Koenitzer with NJIT Scholarship
Jarmel Kizel’s scholarship recognizes a third or fourth year student for demonstrating academic achievement, design skill and leadership ability while completing the undergraduate program at NJIT’s New Jersey School of Architecture. Dana, who is seeking her bachelor’s degree in Architecture, was this year’s award recipient, and also has been given the opportunity to join Jarmel Kizel’s internship team this summer.
Matthew Jarmel, NJIT alumnus and Chair of the Dean’s Council, stated, “It is with great pleasure that I present this scholarship to such a well-deserving student as Dana. I, along with Dana, take extreme pride in the school and am honored to salute her dedication, hard work and creative leadership throughout her academic career at NJIT.”
Jarmel Kizel established the $25,000 scholarship fund in 2001 to award $2,500 each year to a third or fourth year student of NJIT’s New Jersey School of Architecture. The scholarship is awarded on academic excellence, community involvement, student leadership and design innovation.
