Friday's restaurant at 1780 Gun Hill Rd. in the Bronx, NY, on behalf of the Briad Group of Livingston, NJ. The firm also collaborated with Vornado Realty Trust, the owner of the retail center where the restaurant pad is located. The 330-seat restaurant is one of 860 T.G.I. Friday's located in 47 states and 60 countries. Jarmel Kizel has provided architecture and design services for over 20 T.G.I. Friday's locations in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, California and Arizona on behalf of the Briad Group. When designing the restaurants for Briad, Jarmel Kizel adapts the franchiser’s prototype to local conditions. Unique Project Aspects: At this location in the Bronx, Jarmel Kizel also provided structural engineering for a micro-pile foundation after assessing both conventional and unconventional approaches to soil conditions prior to finalizing the design. |
