Project Description:

Jarmel Kizel provided the following architecture and engineering design services for the renovation of the Park Avenue Club.  Exterior alterations including façade stabilization.  Removal and replacement of existing windows, as well as the installation of new windows and exterior doors.  The installation of new fire stairs, sprinkler system, HVAC system, elevator, kitchen, toilet rooms and dinning rooms.  The construction of a second level within a high open space of the hay barn.  Site construction of a parking lot, exterior patio dining room, landscaping, building lighting and parking lot lighting.  The installation of a public address system, audio visual equipment, fire alarm and security system.  The installation of a basement level with a finished floor nine feet below the deepest foundation. This was achieved by underpinning the existing foundation and was done to add usable space to the building without altering the look and size of the existing exterior elevation.

Unique Project Aspects:
