Re-Development of Industrial Building into
40,000 SF Building
Civil Engineering, Architectural and Interior Design, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering.
This $ 2.5 million dollar project included the conversion of a 40,000 square foot, fifty-year old industrial building into a private school for disabled children. The entire building was demolished down to its structural skin, the existing pre-cast concrete fašade was left in place and new windows were installed. The project program called for the construction of 17 classrooms, a music room, an art room, gymnasium, cafeteria, school offices and corporate offices. Jarmel Kizel assisted the client in obtaining all approvals including site plan approval and Department of Education approvals.
