Project Type: New Building and Interior Fit-Up Project Size: 42,000 square foot two story building Services Provided: Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Structural Engineering Project Description: On behalf of the Township of Livingston, Jarmel Kizel performed an architectural needs assessment to determine what governmental departments and community needs could be best served and relocated into this new facility. The new building, designed by Jarmel Kizel, maximizes the irregular shaped site of 7 acres and includes three sections: a municipal office, pre-school, and new Senior Community Center. The plan also accounts for parking for 260 cars. The building is 42,000 square feet in size and houses offices for the Township’s recreation and health departments. The community and senior center includes a reception lobby, reading room, craft rooms, recreation room, multipurpose room, kitchen and conference rooms. Also included is a television studio for TV-34, the township’s local station. |
