Project Type: Tenant Fit-Out Project Size: 25,000 Square Feet Services Provided: Space Planning, Interior Design, Architectural Design and Engineering Design Project Description: Jarmel Kizel designed this finely appointed facility on the 26th floor of Exchange Place in Jersey City, New Jersey. The facility includes corporate offices and trading functions. Unique Project Aspects: One of the key design features used by Jarmel Kizel was the use of prefabricated demountable partitions which come in a variety of colors and finishes. This wall system allows an office space to change as needed without traditional construction. Another important feature to this project was the redundant cooling system that was designed by Jarmel Kizel’s engineers. This system was in addition to the supplemental cooling system provided for the data center. The cooling system allows for the office to operate after hours without incurring overtime charges for the running of the base building’s HVAC system. |
