JARMEL KIZEL BRINGS ABOARD
THOMAS HOFMANN, AIA, AS ASSOCIATE
LIVINGSTON, N.J. (OCTOBER 23, 2006) —Jarmel Kizel Architects & Engineers,
Inc., continues its firm-wide expansion with the addition of Thomas Hofmann,
AIA, as an associate. In his new role, Hofmann will be responsible for
overseeing the company’s retail roll-out projects, which include assignments
for such leading retailers as The Learning Experience, a child development
center with locations across the state; and Fitness and Wellness Centers, a
new concept where fitness and wellness professional services team with local
hospitals to combine both services under one roof.
“Thomas has 20 years of experience in design and construction project
management, making him an invaluable asset to both our company and our
clients,” stated Matthew B. Jarmel, AIA, MBA, principal of Jarmel Kizel. “As

Prior to joining Jarmel Kizel, Hofmann was employed at Biber Partnership in
Summit, New Jersey. He has also held senior level positions at Montroy
Andersen Design Group Inc., Lehr Construction, Perkins & Will, and HLW
International LLP in New York City, as well as Fletcher Thompson Architects
in Hartford, Connecticut; Kagen Architects in New Haven, Connecticut; and
Wingler & Sharpe Architects in Wichita Falls, Texas. Hofmann holds a
bachelor in architecture from Texas Tech University and is a registered
architect in New Jersey and Connecticut.
